EAN code implementation

Ingenium has just implemented in all the products of its catalog, either BUSing® and Bes KNX®, the EAN code system.

It is a unique European identifier for a product made up of several parts: GS1 prefix, unique to each company, product code and check digit.

Optimization and advantages in product tracking

This bar code system will be printed on the box of each device and thus optimizes the introduction of data in computer systems. In addition, the traceability and monitoring of the product is ensured throughout all the links in the supply chain.

The main advantage of this system is to unify all the information of a product in a single label, minimizing the time used. In addition, it facilitates work in either fully automated and non-automated warehouses.
