Ingenium at the Conference on Digital Transformation: Gijón SMART CITIES
On December 14th, the Conference on Digital Transformation of the Mile of Knowledge Chair: Gijón SMART CITIES of the University of Oviedo, was held in the Aula Magna of the of the Polytechnic School of Gijón,.
This chair aroused two years ago, in 2016, with an agreement between the city council of Gijón and the University. Its objective is to promote development in areas of intelligent networks, sustainable buildings, IoT systems, etc. That is, any type of technology that can be included within the field of SMART CITIES and that guarantee an increase in the quality of life of citizens, as well as an efficient use of resources.
As every year, Ana Pérez, Managing Director of Ingenium Ingeniería y Domótica attended this conference in order to participate in a round table with other companies to talk about the SMART CITIES model.
